Overview
Noir Bureau photograph every building they finish four times a year, at the same hour, for a decade. The archive is the practice's real work, and it was sitting in a folder.
An archive, not a portfolio
We built the site around that archive. Projects are not case studies; they are dated entries you can move through by year, by site, or by the quality of light. The CMS holds a single project type with a repeating photo set, so the practice can add a visit in under a minute.
Motion is used once, deliberately: moving between two photographs of the same building holds the frame and changes only the image, so you read the building rather than the transition.
